Our team take great pride in the service that they provide to our clients and most have worked with us for many years and our funeral home team ensure that the funeral home is staffed during office hours and we have an out of hour’s telephone number that is manned 24/7.
The team are the primary faces that you will meet when you come in to meet with us, other than one of our funeral directors. They ensure that the arrangements we have agreed with you are implemented and that the extra services that you may require (orders of service, memory books etc.) are ordered and delivered when you need them.
Our Private Rest Rooms
Our funeral home is modern, comfortable and welcoming. All our facilities are at ground floor level and all our family rooms are wheelchair accessible. We have private, individual restrooms where the person in our care will rest until they leave us for their funeral service. We have a separate family room where you can come if you decide to meet us at the funeral home to make funeral arrangements.
We can guide you through your service options whether it will be a; religious, humanist or civil funeral service and can answer any questions you may have. We have extensive experience of arranging burials, cremations, repatriation overseas and memorial services.
Our Funeral Stationary
Our personalised funeral stationery is a wonderful way of providing a lasting tribute to the life of a much-loved relative or friend and includes:
• Order of Service – are used to guide everyone through the funeral service, and can be a lovely momentum for family and friends to keep after the day.
• Attendance Cards
• Memorial Cards – are credit card sized printed cards that allow family members to carry their loved one with them every day.
• Thank You Cards – enable bereaved families to add a few personal words of thanks after the service.
• Bookmarks – are created for families who would like to have a lasting keepsake of their loved one, for themselves or perhaps as a gift.
• Condolence books – a keepsake for close friends and family to share condolences and memories of the deceased.
• Photo Easels – a large photo image board with strutted stand.
All can be modified to suit you and your wishes, including personal photographs or poems and your choice of hymns and readings.
If you require any obituary notices, we recommend that they are placed on the 6th day prior to the service and to help you we will assist with drafting the notices. Newspaper notices need to be provided to us by 9 am on a working day prior to publication for us to ensure that they are placed with the publishers on time. We will gladly produce shop or club notice board obituary notices for you if you wish.
Our Coffins and Caskets
We stock an extensive range of traditional veneer coffins in a range of colours and styles. All our coffins include a nameplate, six handles, full lining and appropriate fixtures and fittings.
Our solid wood range is usually supplied in high polished oak. The coffins can be purchased with an “antique oak” or “mahogany” stain. All our solid wood coffins are specially ordered and this means there are more options for you to personalise coffins from this range.
Caskets can be supplied in either solid wood or veneered wood and can, therefore, be considered for a burial or a cremation service.
We supply an extensive range of coffins and caskets to suit your budget and we can advise you which ones are suitable for cremation.
Our Eco Coffins
We have a range of manufacturers and suppliers of eco-coffins. These coffins are supplied to order and are normally with us within two working days of us placing the order on your behalf. Coffins are made in a variety of shapes and from a wide range of natural materials. All our range of eco-style coffins are suitable for burial or cremation.
We believe that everyone should choose a coffin for themselves or a loved one that expresses that person’s individuality be it traditional or more alternative and our range illustrates some of the hundreds of designs available to choose from.
We can also supply an extensive range of Urn’s, Scattering Tubes and Keepsake items in various colours and styles.
Our Funeral Cars
We own our own fleet of specialist vehicles and are maintained by our main dealer to ensure reliability at all times.
Our funeral cortege fleet consists of black Volvo estate hearses and spacious limousines. All vehicles are thoroughly valeted before each funeral service. Each of our limousines comfortably carries 7 passengers and are chauffeur driven by one of our experienced and uniformed chauffeur-bearers.
